Grant’s gives away free glass with each bottle

Grant’s blended Scotch whisky, distributed in the UK by leading independent distributor First Drinks Brands and wholly owned by William Grant & Sons Ltd, is bringing in 2009 with a new on-pack promotion.
Exclusively for the off-trade, Grant’s is giving consumers a free iconic ‘Different Angle’ glass with every bottle.
Grant’s has invested almost £100k into the on-pack campaign, which will see 170,000 packs distributed in February to off-trade retailers across the UK.
With each glass in the angular shape of the iconic Grant’s bottle, the number three blended whisky continues building the profile of its ‘Different Angle’ campaign.
“Grant’s has maintained its coveted podium position in the grocery multiple sector and has grown by 27% over the past year.
“We are thrilled with the brand’s performance, and what better way to celebrate than by giving away special gifts to our valued consumers,” says Harriet Knight, Brand Manager for Grant’s at First Drinks Brands.
“The campaign is inspired by our highly successful ‘A Different Angle’ brand platform and has been designed to deliver value back into the category and encourage further growth in 2009.”
2009 is set to be an exciting year for Grant’s and it is on the path to strengthening its position in the sector.
With an increase in marketing spend, the continuation of the highly successful Garden After Hours campaign is planned to further support both the on and off-trade.
You know in my 28 years of living in Scotland i don’t think i’d ever tried Grant’s….. Maybe in a pub with coke but i don’t remember…. I’ve seen it here though maybe its worth having a wee dram?

Since several years I drink Grant’s whisky but never I have recived a free glass with my bottle.

I have been drinking GRANTS WHISKEY FROM THE 1.75 LITRE BOTTLE SINCE i FIRST SIGHTED IIT SOME 6EARS AGO.lATELY i HAVE HAdvtwo problemswith the cap insert thath are quite troublesome–!] on one occasion a guest was pouring drinks and the insert popped out and we los6t a considerable amount of the liquid–2]one of the bottles did not have tthe insert in the neck as expected and the spillage was extensive. I believe you should make this insert more foolproof as my friends are not always as cautious as they should be with MY scotch Thank you Tom.
