Camping in Canada (Ontario)?
Question by Kaetlyn: Camping in Canada (Ontario)?
A few friends and I are looking to do some camping up in Ontario. We live in Ohio, but however long we have to drive doesn’t matter too much so long as we’re going to a good spot. We’d like to find somewhere secluded, so to speak, where we’re not going to have to worry about listening to people camping nearby and have a good chance of seeing some wildlife/scenery (two of the group are nature photographers). The only place in Canada we’ve ever gone to is Tobermory, but not camping, so we don’t know where to start looking.
Someone had recommended Algonquin Provincial Park, so we’re looking at that, but also wondering if there are any other good areas. Thanks for any help.

I don’t think you should plan it. Just go and see where you end up. It would be more fun that way as you do not know what you are going to do next. I use to do that and it was great because you don’t know what you are getting into. I can’t give any areas as I don’t know anything about Ontario, Canada. I am from Australia. Things don’t go right if you plan, well, that is what I have found out. Have fun camping, I am green with envy.
